Natalia Kapchuk wins the “The UWILL Award” in the ART nominnee

14 March, the UWILL Award ceremony was held at the Hilton Hotel Canary Wharf in London as part of a gala dinner organized by the Uwill global (United Woman’s Intelligence). The award aims to support and recognize talented and successful Russian-speaking women living in the UK.

In the nomination “OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO INTERNATIONAL ART AND CULTURE” the victory was won by Natalia Kapchuk — an artist, philanthropist supporting charitable organizations in the fight against environmental pollution and cleanup water of the World Ocean, environmental activist, author of “The Lost Planet” series of works. During an online voting Natalia was considered the strong favorite for the award.

The project shows different threats to the ecological balance due to human activities, reveals environmental problems, highlights the most global and dangerous of them for the present and future of our planet. Another goal of the artworks is to show beauty of our Earth, landscapes and oceans, unique ecosystems. The project features 22 objects, two wall sculptures and video installations. In the next few months, the series will be presented at first solo exhibition in London, and a little later in New York and in Moscow.

The winners were also announced in the following categories: “BUSINESS LADY OF THE YEAR”, “PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD”, “SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT IN FASHION INDUSTRY”, “SPECIAL RECOGNITION IN HEALTH”, “WELLBEING AND BEAUTY AWARD”, “CONTRIBUTION TO KID’S EDUCATION SPORT”, “BLOGGER OF THE YEAR”. The gala show was hosted by the singer ISHA (The X Factor UK). The honorary online jury was represented by: Irakli, Ciro Orsini and others.
