Dubai visitors and guests have a rare opportunity to view select pieces from “The Lost Planet” series by ecoartist and philanthropist Natalia Kapchuk until May 1, 2023. The solo exhibition, in collaboration with Art|Kōrero, JP Art Advisory, and FprBuro Communications Agency, is being held at the magnificent ME Dubai Hotel, designed by the late Zaha Hadid.
“The Lost Planet” series pays homage to the planet’s natural uniqueness while drawing attention to the irreversible consequences of human activity on the environment. Kapchuk’s eco-friendly approach to creating art has captured the interest of viewers. The artist utilizes reclaimed wood, up-cycled plastics, and plantbased techniques and materials in her physical art pieces. On March 18, Kapchuk co-hosted an exclusive ArtKōrero Painting Workshop as part of her captivating art show. Participants learned about eco-friendly art techniques and the use of natural components and plantbased materials from the artist herself. After the workshop, attendees enjoyed a private tour of Kapchuk’s exhibition, displayed within the breathtaking hotel’s atrium and third-floor newly dedicated gallery space, admiring the mesmerizing artworks from “The Lost Planet” series.
