Artist, Eco-Activist, and Philanthropist Natalia Kapchuk’s Ocean’s DNA from The Lost Planet Series Sold for 95,000 AED at the Art Be A Part Gala Charity Auction in Dubai

On November 6th, artist and eco-activist Natalia Kapchuk attended the 2024 Art Be A Part Gala as a special guest. This marked her second time supporting the initiative, following her participation in the #TiLT Festival & Conference in collaboration with Art Be A Part at the Taj Dubai Hotel in September 2022.

A highlight of the evening was the charity auction featuring Kapchuk’s 2019 artwork Ocean’s DNA from her acclaimed series The Lost Planet. Initially valued at 31,500 AED ($8,576), the piece was sold for an impressive 95,000 AED ($25,864). All proceeds from the sale were pledged by the artist to Art for Social Good’s initiatives, which focus on improving the lives of children in India and fostering a brighter future. The event supported charitable projects in partnership with Dubai Cares and UNICEF India (@UNICEF).

The Art Be A Part Gala brought together artists, philanthropists, business leaders, and industry influencers from around the world to contribute to meaningful causes. Distinguished attendees included renowned sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, art curator Neel Shukla, and other prominent figures in the art world. The evening took place at Bâoli Dubai, offering an elegant and intimate setting enriched by contemporary art and a shared sense of purpose.
