From the end of April to the end of May, art connoisseurs worldwide had a unique opportunity to participate in an online Charity Auction arranged by the Better World Fund, with proceeds allocated for humanitarian and environmental causes.
The Better World Fund is a charitable group with the objective of enhancing the well-being of individuals worldwide through diverse programs, such as advocating for sustainable growth, addressing international health issues, providing educational opportunities, and endorsing global peace and security endeavors.
Contemporary artist, philanthropist, and environmentalist Natalia Kapchuk finds it essential to use her art and professional platforms to support charitable initiatives across the globe, committed to encouraging projects focused on environmental and humanitarian issues.
Thus, Natalia Kapchuk was proud to donate her artwork “Planet of Love” (2022) to the Better World Charity Auction. The auction’s earnings will go towards supporting two commendable initiatives: the Akbaraly Foundation, which advocates for women and children’s access to crucial healthcare, education, and an improved standard of living in Madagascar, and the Amazonia Fund Alliance, a UNESCO undertaking that aims to purify the waters of the Amazon rainforest.
The final bids will be made during the Better World Fund Gala Dinner, which takes place on the 21st of May at the prestigious Carlton Cannes Hotel during the Cannes Film Festival 2023.
